Preliminary Results of First Steps Audit!

Join us for a webinar on Thursday MARCH 6th to discuss the initial findings for the first two evaluation questions.

1. Have recent policy changes (e.g. eligibility, cost participation, evaluation) had an effect on the referrals, intakes, evaluations, eligibility determinations, and initial IFSPs conducted by First Steps.

2. Have recent policy changes (e.g., eligibility, cost participation, evaluation, service coordination) had an effect on the number of children and families served by First Steps?

A narrated PowerPoint will offer information on the analysis of data to respond to these two questions. You are welcome and encouraged to ask questions and offer comments during the webinar. Please join us 5-10 minutes before so that you don't miss any information.

We are Looking forward to the webinar! You are all doing good work and I hope there will be good information that helps First Steps get back on its feet! It has been a rough few years (5??) and we need to get back to providing families with good quality supports that help children make necessary progress.

First Steps leadership has a role, to be a LEADER and guide to the communities so they can locate and support the early intervention providers who work directly with families. Listen and learn from the audit results. I will.

We have excellent providers who are struggling to do what they do best (Therapy, Coordination)under the weight of paper and more paper! Its time for FS to lead the way and go GREEN! Lets quit using so much paper, gather just the necessary information and do what we do best...

Sorry to have to sign off anonymous but better to say something than nothing. Keep up the good work!
